We are in red carpet award season, and the Screen Actors Guild just handed out statues! But I don’t care about that. No, I care about the jewelry! So let’s get right to it, shall we?

So many amazing earrings

Earrings, earrings everywhere. And it was all diamonds, all the time at the SAG Awards! Beautiful, shimmery, glittery goodness! People were going absolutely crazy for those bows that Rachel Brosnahan (from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) was wearing! And Gemma Chan (from Crazy Rich Asians) was just a vision. And of course, we can always count on Lupita to look fabulous!

Yes, dangling diamonds were definitely a thing! Emily Blunt (from A Quiet Place) and Jane Fonda both had some beautiful pairs, too.

And then there were these ladies. Also wearing diamonds. A bit of a step up from studs (totally kidding!), these earrings were definitely statement pieces! Julia Garner (from Netflix’s Ozark) looked stunning. And I loved the geometry of Alison Brie’s earrings (you probably know her from Mad Men or Community). Danai Gurira, from Black Panther, looked fabulous with her earrings too.

Lady Gaga in Tiffany

I have been a fan of the all-American jewelry company Tiffany for a while now. But it’s been really fun watching Gaga’s partnership with them. Since 2017, she’s been their model and spokesperson, and also had a hand in designing some pieces. I am loving seeing Gaga wear all sorts of fabulous jewelry from them, and this awards show was no exception. Her pieces were unique and beautiful, and I loved how it wasn’t matchy-matchy. It was just perfect. She has my vote for best jewelry of the night!

Men with pins

I am loving seeing the men step up their style game! Cheers to Chadwick Boseman (from Black Panther) with a bunch of Tiffany brooches. Really, why wear one when you can wear three??!! His rings and bracelets were from Tiffany too. And how could you not fall in love the the cutest little 12-year-old on the red carpet? Parker Bates from This Is Us looked very dashing!

And then there was Luke Kirby (from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) to add a bit of whimsy with a Cartier duck brooch. I’m not even kidding.

Best brooch game

The men may be upping their game, but Constance Wu stole the show! I loved her innovative way of wearing the brooch on her skirt. Her dress was so simple and elegant, with minimal jewelry, that it made the brooch a great statement piece. Well done! Also, if you haven’t seen Crazy Rich Asians, DO IT! Constance is amazing in that movie!

Back to Earrings

This awards show felt very much like it was all about earrings. And so while these women didn’t have diamonds, their earrings were still pretty killer. You had Laura Harrier (from BlacKkKlansman) in colorful earrings from Bulgari, Margot Robbie with those gorgeous golden pearls, and Madeline Brewer (from The Handmaid’s Tale) with mismatched statement earrings from Lorraine Schwartz.

Well, gem gals, that wraps up my two cents for the best jewelry at the SAG Awards. What about you? Did I miss any of your favorites? Let me know in the comments below.
